Dr. Disha SYAL along with her team at S.G.L. Hospital has saved the life of a 17 year old kid . The child was brought into the SGL Hospital, Jalandhar in a unconscious state. Dr. Disha Syal investigated the problem. The kid was unable to breathe properly so he was kept on ventilator. Dr. Disha Syal personally monitored the case because it the kid was in a critical stage .

Dr. Disha Syal drained out the foul secretions from the intestine and stomach due to which the kid was able to breathe . Now the nest challenge was to correct the intestine which was damaged . Surgeon’s team then operated on to remove the damaged part of intestine . The intestine was given a new route so to correct the passage of food. The child was put on ventilator for couple of days after the surgery . After two days, the kid recovered consciousness . The family of the kid was extremely happy to see their child well.
